We get all sorts of flyers and brochures at our door daily, and ever since Joshua grasped the concept of the dustbin, he’s been the one religiously picking these papers off our front door and throwing them away.
One fateful day, there was a Canadian Pizza flyer under our door.
Not only did Joshua not throw it away, he waved the flyer in my face with one hand and showed me the baby sign for “eat” with his other hand. I didn’t know how to respond but to laugh.
Thinking his mom must be stupid or something, he alternated pointing to the picture of the delicious-looking pizza, and showing me “eat” again.
And when we did order pizza the next day – from Spizza instead of Canadian – he really ate the pizza. But not the garlic bread.
